We would like to—Employment generating for unemployed youths, women, disabled people and poor families livelihood and reducing migration from villages to cities.
in Village – Sunargaon (Kanda) District- Bageshwar (Kumaon) Hills of State- Uttarakhand.
Mostly poor families rearing goat but the new technology, research achievements, Demonstration project, and assistance are not available in this areas.
1. Here Goat rearing is a very weak condition because of poor goat keepers not able to expend any money for the goat breeding improvement, nutrition, safe shelter for hill areas, good feeding, health care and others. Goats are depended on only semi-intensive systems poor local breed only for meat, so the goat production very low weight.

3. If you would like to start Demonstration project micro unit for goat livelihood development program here we greatly appreciate your efforts and thanks to you.
4. – Improving high meat production breeding with new technology as scientific way.
5-Starting micro breeding farm by artificial insemination by local Vet worker at Kanda, district- Bageshwar. State- Uttarakhand.
6- Establishing pilot Demonstration ideal goat rearing micro unit by the support of friends. Providing high meat production breed buck and does to poor farmers on no loss no profit basis by the support of
7- Motivating local goat keepers’ farmers for adopting new technology.
8- Organizing training program locally with the chart, posters, and audiovisual resources.
9- Survey of the local goat farmers and got rearing problems. and try to solve those problems.

10 Installed renewable energy sources ie Solar street lamps and lights in poor village’s homes.
Each volunteer needs to contribute for 2 weeks – Rs.25,000/- for the community
Social help project and for home stay lodging. All food is provided. ALL THE MONEY GOES DIRECTY TO THE COMMUNITY NOT FOR ADMINISTRATION .

Mr Jeevan Verma to empower his village through positive aspects of Tourism.
Rural Organization for Social Empowerment – ROSE is a voluntourism/village tourism organisation started by Mr Jeevan Verma to empower his village through positive aspects of Tourism.
What inspired me?
Jeevan uncle belongs to small village where he is limited by the very little resources he can manage and yet he chooses to push his dream of creating a sustainable future for his village, by managing with what ever government and private resources available to him. He spends hai day learning to use a computer, using social media to promote his work.
His knowledge about animal husbandry and cross breading is phenomenal. He has done notable work in Goat breeding and has been recognised multiple times by the Govt. Of India.
He has an amazing family, where everyone is so connected to each other, they share laughs and they share stories. They had their own problems to deal with but never for once i saw them complain about anything

Experience of Mornings in the Village
Every morning, when I perched my head out of the pillow, i opened my bleary eyes, half awake and asleep, the warm feeling of the first light of dawn falling on my face through the window persuaded me to wake up. The sweet sounds of Himalayan Bulbul intermingled with joyful children voices made it even harder to go back to my dreams as the reality seemed more appealing, the musky smell of pine covers, fileds and the fresh cooked breakfast pretermit all the tiredness in my veins, I woke up fresh with a smile every morning.

Rural Tourism for Rural Empowerment .
The Verma Model of Rural Upliftment has brought a very positive 40 years for Kanda, a little village in Uttarakhand. What started as a single man’s effort, the seeds sown by Jeevan Lal Verma has helped Kanda garner international attention including research from professors at Center for Tourism and Research – Lucknow, International Center for Mountain Development and Research, Kathmandu apart from researchers from Finland and USA doing their research work.
Kanda has seen visitors from various countries, including the USA, UK and Canada, for community collaboration and volunteer tourism powered by their own ROSE (
Rural Organization For Social Elevation
) foundation.
We at Innovate4India are inspired by such success stories and are soon launching a community for nation building through a Crowdsourcing mechanism.
